The buzz this month was clearly DNNcon, the conference held last weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida. But there was more to talk about, and we did.
Introductions
I started the meeting thanking sponsors as always, then got into the meat of the meeting.
DNN News
Jim Nagy told us about what's happening in the DNN ecosphere, most notably, a new version of DNN released on the same day.
DNNcon Review
Sprocket Websites missed the con this year since Don's preparing for his daughter's wedding next week and Jim's got his hands full with brand new twins, but Chicago was still represented big time by Scott and Phil. Both shared thoughts, observations and a few photos from the event.
The big news out of Florida was the Scott was awarded MVP status at the event. Congratulations! Unfortunately, but as a testiment to his commitment to the cause, Scott was busy prepping for the seminar he was giving as Joe Brinkman announced his name! Here's the video the Jim Kee caught announcing Scott and catching Joe's accolades.
Tech Talk: DNN Search Specifics
Scott gave a talk - the one he was prepping for when he was named MVP! - on DNN Search, and he provided the highlights for us.
Closing remarks and call for topics
Last year, Megan Croley of DNN Corp visited with us. She organized a drive for less fortunate families through the company and coordinated it through their DNN website. How cool is that? So what are you doing this year to pass on good cheer? We want to know.
See you all next month! Of course, until then, why not comment on what we posted here and start a conversation? We'd love to hear from you.
