April 5 is National Deep Dish Pizza Day. Chicago is known for it's great deep dish and it's great website user group!
We used to be called the Chicago Area DotNetNuke User Group, or CADUG. Not a very cool name, but at least it's descriptive.
Then the fellas from the Carolinas came up with a very clever name for their conference: Southern Fried DNN.
Well, that got us to thinking: if we were to hold a conference, we have as classic an icon to use as anybody: Chicago Style Pizza. So why not Chicago Style DNN for a conference.
We attempted to hold a conference in recent years but stepped back to let a few other cities and groups have the honors, but we'll hold one again and when we do it'll certainly be "Chicago Style."
I checked the calendar. There won't be a Saturday, April 5th until 2025 (leap year causes the 5th to jump from Friday to Sunday in 2020). That's a ways off, but wouldn't it be cool to have DNNcon on National Deep Dish Pizza Day in Chicago?
