Both Jim and I wish we could be there but family matters are keeping us away this year. Watch for Scott and Phil's recap next week.
Sprocket has been to the DNN conventions for the past five years, but neither Jim nor I can make it this year. Jim's got brand new twins at home who are keeping him and wife Susan busy. I'm doing last-minute work on my daughter Emma's wedding - she's got some very big, cool plans for a rather unconventional wedding and my wife Kate and I are helping to prepare for that.
Although we'll miss all the interesting sessions and meeting up with colleagues, our place is at home and we hope you understand. And of course, it's only Sprocket that will be missing. ChicagoDNN will be represented.
Scott Wilkinson of DotNetNuclear is presenting a session at the event, and Phil Wegrzyn, long time DNN developer for a major retailer, will be there to gain and share knowledge. And both have promised to provide a recap here on ChicagoDNN.org when they get back. And of course David Risner from bravo squared, a fellow ChicagoDNN member, will be there since they're a Gold sponsor of the event, so maybe we will hear from him too!
Our regular meeting of Wednesday, November 12, will include their assessment of the DNNcon as well as an encore of Scott's DNNcon session, for those of us in the Windy City who couldn't get to Florida this weekend.
Once again, best of luck and good wishes to all attending DNNcon tomorrow. Take pictures and post them so we can see.
