At last week's DNNcon in West Palm Beach the DNN MVPs were announced -- including long-time Chicago Area DNN User Group member Scott Wilkinson.
Unfortunately, Scott wasn't actually in the room during the announcement. He was busy preparing to give his session at the conference, but colleague James McKee was quick on the draw with his cell phone and recorded the moment for Scott to enjoy later. You can watch that video here.
According to the website, "The DNN Most Valuable Person (MVP) Award is our way of saying thank you to exceptional community leaders. These are people who share their passion, expertise, open source contributions and real-world experience with others. Nominated by our users, we recognize the vital role these people play in helping our community do great things with DNN."
Scott has frequently shared his knowledge with the User Group, so we know first-hand why he would be nominated for MVP status. The Chicago members are proud to have one of ours recognized. Congratulations, Scott!
