September Meeting Recap, Videos

Meet Managed.com, See the Latest DNN Skin, Test Server Load, Prepare for a Heavy Load

It's September, so Back to School!! We certainly learned a lot in this edition of the User Group meeting, with professors Tony Valenti, Tracy Wittenkeller, Scott Wilkinson and Jim Nagy.

Intro, plus Tony Valenti

As always, we can't do this without help from our great sponsors. We introduce the founders of the user group and then talk about our sponsors. J&S Tech Designs provides the Gotomeeting when we meet virtually as we did this time. And we had a new logo for an old friend: PowerDNN has combined a number of business together and is now called Managed.com. Tony Valenti visited us to tell us about the rebranding and mostly about the continued service to the DNN Community.

News

Jim Nagy reports the news from DNN Corporate as well as the state of the DNN User Group.

Tracy Wittenkeller of T-Worx, a long-time supporter and contributor to the DNN Community, demonstrated how easy it is to have a beautiful website with his new skin, Aquae, which is in pre-release now.

If you'd like to try out the skin yourself, follow this link.

Closing remarks

We thank folks and talk about next month.
