Thanks for those attending our October meeting, held in the Quigley Center in downtown Chicago last night (October 1). If you missed it (and you know who you are), take a look at this recap.

We started the meeting by hitting the Record button! Thanks to J&S Tech Designs, one of our members, we have GotoMeeting to share the meeting live with both out of town guests as well as remote speakers. The "record a meeting" is a great additional feature. Of course, when multiple people have laptops in the room and are logged in to the meeting we get feedback, so the first part of our recording was no good. No problem! That was mostly the intros and purpose of the group, which we've said many times, so I trimmed that section out. 

In fact, I sliced the long recording into sections, so you can watch the individual items.

While most social functions are present in the core DNN Platform and/or codeplex as open source, the Gamification features (assigning points for user behavior like answering questions on a forum or inviting others to the community) is only available in the DNN Evoq Social product. Scott shows how a module can register with the game system.
