For March, Chicago was Snow-Covered, so we took the opportunity to talk about our favorite website in the DNN ecosphere, which used to be known by the name Snow Covered. But first,
Let's introduce the folks leading the user group and thank our sponsors:
Next Jim Nagy of Sprocket Websites runs through the latest numbers - check it out; we're getting more followers in most of the social media platforms! - and then reviews the latest news and DNN updates.
Now we can tell you about "Snow-Covered." If you're brand new to DNN, you may know that it's an acronym for DotNetNuke, even though DNN is the official name, but you may not know that the favorite spot for finding new looks for your website (skins) and new functions to drop in and go (modules) was at a site called, wait for it, "SnowCovered.com" so since we're talking about "snow-covered" Chicago, let's start by visiting snowcovered.com.
This URL redirects to its new name, store.dnnsoftware.com, and you'll find some nice features that have been added since DNN Corporation obtained the site a couple years back.
We dive into the site and talk about some of the items you can find there.
We're hoping for the chance to see Chicago a lot less white next month. Well, here's hoping at least :-)
Our next meeting will be April 9. It's always the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Check back here to find out where (virtual or in-person) and what topics we'll cover. See you then!
