DNN Voted "Critics Choice"

"Best CMS for SMB" in past year

CMSCritic.com gave two separate awards for 2012:  the People's Choice award and the Critic's Choice award. The People's Choice was awarded in November and popularity was determined by online voting. DotNetNuke (DNN) received the most popular votes in the Small-to-Medium Business category.

On Monday, January 28, Mike Johnston of CMS Critic announced the Critic's Choice finalist and once again DotNetNuke was found at the top spot. Johnston wrote:

"The Critic’s Choice Awards are our selections for what we feel are the best of breed in their respective areas. The winners are not limited to nominated systems and are selected, this year, by myself based on the following factors:  innovation. community, versatility and uniqueness."

DotNetNuke was Johnston's number one recommendation because of DNN's "ease of use, support, community activity (of which there is quite a bit), available opportunity for expansion of the CMS (plugins, etc) and innovation."

Of course, we knew that already, didn't we?
